About the Artist

Hi and welcome, I’m Cassie Wehrenberg, an Australian landscape and seascape artist. I was raised in the stunning coastal town of Esperance, Western Australia and after spending 15 years living in various places in Queensland and the Top End of Australia, I returned to my hometown in 2018.

I’ve always had a fascination with nature and colour, which has fuelled my creative journey with paint, pencils and charcoal over the years. Upon returning to Esperance, the pristine beaches and vibrant landscapes inspired me to dive into oil painting, focusing on seascapes that capture the essence of this region. Encouraged by the support of family, friends and the local community, I began sharing my artwork locally and online. It’s been really heartwarming to see so many of you also love having the calming colours of the coast on your walls at home and in the workplace.

I paint scenes that I would love to have on my walls, tranquil beaches with crystal-clear waters, serene sunrises and peaceful sunsets. It’s actually such a lovely thing to be able to spend time examining the beautiful nature around us in such detail and then translate that beauty onto canvas.
